A document set accepted for one hotel project does not automatically cover another model, product configuration or destination market.
Before finalizing a hotel hair dryer configuration for quotation, sampling or purchase, check the following four areas.
1. Where Does the Requirement Come From?
This distinction is especially important when a European hotel project requests a lower-wattage hair dryer.
Regulation (EU) 2023/826 does not set a specific active-mode wattage ceiling for hotel guest-room hair dryers. A lower-wattage requirement may instead come from a hotel group policy, tender specification, sustainability target or guest-room electrical-load limitation.
Regulation (EU) 2023/826 covers hair-drying appliances when they fall within its scope, including appliances designed, tested and marketed for household use. Its power limits concern off, standby and networked standby modes—not the rated wattage used while drying hair.

2. What Exact Configuration Will Be Supplied?
